I attended Northern Arizona University for my bachelor's degree, and also graduated from a Montessori teaching school. I'm certified as a teacher in Arizona, and I'm intimately familiar with Common Core standards and the expectations the state has for its students. I currently work in a public school teaching English language development. I have seven years of experience as a tutor. I'm looking forward to helping students succeed in English as a second language, writing, reading, essays, literature, English grammar and syntax, public speaking, study skills, and elementary level math. When I have free time, I like to raise chickens, run my organic clothing business, and contribute to the community garden.
