One of my goals in life is to bring together as many people as possible, regardless of what cultural background they may have. Language is a fantastic way to bridge the differences that we see in the world, and for that reason, it is something that I love to tutor. I graduated from BYU, majoring in Spanish translation. I also studied music, social studies, ESL, editing, and international studies. I tutor English, Spanish, and ESL, in particular, and I have worked with students ranging from elementary to adult learners. As a tutor, I aim to instill a sense of confidence in my students that will allow them to achieve their goals. I enjoy the face-to-face interactions that tutoring affords. They allow me to find out how a student works best, and they give students a chance to have a comfortable working environment. Every student has their own background and particular struggles. As a tutor, it is up to me to discover any potential hang-ups and help the student to move beyond them to a place of confidence and understanding. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy camping, hiking, woodworking, gardening, and playing music with my friends and family.
