Graduated with a BS in Physics from Cal Poly Pomona and will be pursuing a PhD in Physics in the near future. Education and learning is a passion of mine and when with friends or family, I spend much of my time explaining complex scientific ideas to them as well as anyone who wants to ask. I enjoy sharing this and showing how interesting and fun it can be.
Experience
Through my college career I have spent time helping and tutoring fellow classmates as well as spent time tutoring friends and family with their difficulties in various subjects, mostly in the realm of math and science. I have a broad background ranging from elementary/remedial math all the way up through single/multi-variable calculus, as well as differential equations and linear algebra. Not only do I have my degree in physics and can cover a majority of the material with good understanding, I also have a strong grasp of General Chemistry and Biology. I have also taken and passed the GRE in the 90th percentile. My minor was philosophy with an emphasis in logic, and I am familiar with symbolic and predicate logic as well.

Hobbies
My hobbies include roller blading, cycling and outdoor activities. I also enjoy doing math and science in my free time (yes, hard to believe, but it's true), just the same as people who read novels and short stories. I am a very patient teacher and have a pleasant demeanor and can work well around frustration as I understand it first hand. And I use positive reinforcement as my main motivator. I believe that given proper time, hard work and discipline, a student can achieve any goal that he/she puts his/her mind to.
